Simran Lala
MBA Candidate at The Wharton School; Investment Associate Intern at Siguler Guff & Company
About
I am Simran Lala, an MBA Candidate at The Wharton School and an incoming Investment Associate Intern at Siguler Guff & Company. My career began in strategy consulting at EY-Parthenon, where I specialized in the Software Strategy Group, focusing on TMT diligence and M&A strategy. I am deeply passionate about the intersection of technology and emerging markets, particularly India’s economic trajectory and the role of semiconductors and data centers in nation-building. Having recently served as Co-Chair for the 30th Wharton India Economic Forum, I enjoy connecting with industry leaders to discuss long-term value creation and the evolving IPO landscape. I offer deep expertise in technical due diligence and a strong network within the global investment community. I am looking to engage with professionals in private equity and investment management who are navigating the shift from macro fundamentals to technology-led growth.

Opinions
- Wealth creation is a direct function of long-term value creation driven by leadership quality, culture, and brand.
- Adaptability is a critical trait for both large-scale incumbents and new founders.
- India’s growth is underpinned by its demographic dividend, digitization, and the necessity of 'ease of doing business'.
