Varun Biyyala
Lead GenAI Engineer at Okada & Company
About
I'm Varun Biyyala, the Lead GenAI Engineer at Okada & Company in Manhattan. My journey has been a wild ride, from scaling my own startup, GharPe.in, to $200K in India, to now building production-ready multi-agentic LLM platforms that automate complex commercial real estate operations. I also serve as Adjunct Faculty and a Research Collaborator at Yeshiva University, where I work with NASA-affiliated mathematicians on using deep learning to detect financial bubbles. I'm deeply passionate about 'Context Engineering' and moving beyond simple RAG to truly autonomous agentic systems. Beyond the code, I care about resilience, physical discipline, and finding ways to eventually integrate AI with sustainable organic farming. I love giving back through mentorship and am always looking to connect with fellow builders, researchers, or anyone excited about the future of 4D perception and financial modeling.

Opinions
- Context Engineering is the superior skill over Prompt Engineering; it separates AI hobbyists from builders.
- Professional success requires a balance of technical work, physical discipline, and human connection.
