Vaishnavi Reddy
Talent Investor at Entrepreneurs First (EF) in Bengaluru, India
About
I'm Vaishnavi Reddy, a Talent Investor at Entrepreneurs First in Bengaluru, where I help identify and back exceptional individuals who want to build companies from scratch. My career has taken me from finance and strategy roles at firms like ZS and Scaler to the founder's office at Zenskar, and now into early-stage venture capital. I'm passionate about finding and supporting high-agency, deeply curious, and technical people—especially engineers and researchers—who have that irrational conviction needed to solve hard problems. I believe the most ambitious people should be building companies, not chasing traditional paths, and I offer a gateway to EF's resources including funding, co-founder matching, and a path to Silicon Valley. I'm always up for a chat with anyone curious about this journey.

Opinions
- The most ambitious people in the world should be building companies to solve hard problems, not pursuing traditional paths of prestige and comfort
- "Megalomania" (irrational conviction) is necessary for founders to succeed against long odds
- Now is NOT the best time to start a generic "AI company" as the easy white space is gone; winning requires deep problem selection, market understanding, and contrarian thinking
- EF is the best place for young, ambitious, and technical individuals to start their company-building journey
- Believes in backing individuals pre-idea and pre-team, providing capital, peer group, and environment to build from scratch
