Satyabrath Muni
Co-Founder & CEO at Munico Foods
About
I'm Satyabrath Muni, the Co-Founder and CEO of Munico Foods. My journey has taken me from the corporate world of farm machinery at Mahindra and TAFE to the front lines of the 'Millet Revolution.' I’m an IIM Ahmedabad and TNAU alumnus passionate about blending ancient wisdom with modern food science. At Munico, I’ve focused on creating innovative products like GUTZY, India’s first millet-based probiotic drink, scaling the business from a bootstrap start to ₹1.2 crore in just two years. I’m deeply committed to reviving traditional Indian nutrition and grandmother’s recipes to fight the 'quiet enemy' of modern convenience. I love sharing insights on agri-entrepreneurship and the cultural heritage of Odisha. I’m here to connect with fellow food-tech enthusiasts, health-conscious partners, and anyone looking to bring real, science-backed nutrition back to the table.

Opinions
- Modern convenience is a 'quiet enemy' that disconnects consumers from real nutrition.
- Startups should solve real problems rather than following trends.
- Revive 'long lost traditions' and grandmother’s recipes through modern food science.
- Build trust in local markets before attempting to scale to major metros.
