Sanjay Thakur
Founder at Widushi Education
About
I'm Sanjay Thakur, the Founder of Widushi Education. My career has been defined by a transition from high-level academic research in machine learning to building and scaling deep tech ventures. After completing my MS at Mila and McGill and successfully founding and exiting Markovian AI in Toronto, I am now focused on solving a massive real-world challenge: using AI to automate handwritten answer evaluation. I consider myself a hands-on tech builder at heart, passionate about educational equity and creating resilient, scalable SaaS platforms. I’m currently looking to connect with fellow EdTech innovators, educators, and investors who believe that technology should be used to bring speed, accuracy, and fairness to the global education system. Whether you want to talk about ML optimization or the nuances of startup execution, I'm always open to meaningful professional engagement.
