Royal Jain
AI Engineering at Composio
About
I'm Royal Jain, currently focused on AI Engineering at Composio where I'm building AI-native tools like the Rube App. My journey has been a mix of deep technical research and founder life—from pricing derivatives at Morgan Stanley to building Mastree, a K12 platform that was acquired by Unacademy. Most recently, I took CodeParrot through Y Combinator (W23) to automate app building. I’m deeply passionate about the 'founder-problem fit' and the shift toward AI-native infrastructure. I love being in environments where I'm constantly challenged by people smarter than me, and I'm currently on the lookout for exceptional engineers who want to build the future of AI tooling with us. Whether you're an IIT Bombay alum, a fellow founder in 'pivot hell,' or building in the voice and gaming AI space, I'd love to connect.

Opinions
- The vaguer the landing page, the worse the product.
- 90% of on-prem AI deployments fail due to poor optimization and cost management.
- Starting a company must be driven by an emotional pull rather than just logic.
- The cost of being the smartest person in the room is very high.
