Piyush Gupta
Sr. Director - AI & Platform (Models & Agents) at Uniphore
About
I'm Piyush Gupta, currently serving as the Sr. Director of AI & Platform at Uniphore, where I lead our Models and Agentic layers. My career has been a journey of building and scaling transformative technology—from co-founding a navigation startup acquired for its landmark-based directions to serving as CPO for AI-driven platforms in sales and leadership development. I’ve been fortunate to drive over $100M in revenue and scale products to millions of users, even securing early investment from Bill Gates for fintech initiatives. I am deeply passionate about 'AI Native Thinking' and the shift toward autonomous agentic systems. I’m here to connect with fellow builders, researchers, and partners who are navigating the multi-directional pace of AI change and looking to create real enterprise value through governed, sophisticated AI orchestration.

Opinions
- Advocates against filing patents despite being an inventor
- Believes there is a fundamental lack of frameworks for 'thinking natively in AI'
- Enterprises prioritize data sovereignty and governance over having the 'latest' AI
- Product culture should be shaped around outcomes rather than just shipping features
