I have invested 25+ years at the intersection of data, technology, and BFSI / Insurance — building the systems and teams that turn raw information into business decisions that matter. Few technology transformations in India's insurance industry have been built from the ground up, the way SBI General Insurance's was. Joining at inception, I architected and scaled the company's entire enterprise IT, data, and digital ecosystem — moving from a blank canvas to a ₹14,500 Cr GWP premium, and 8000 Cr Claims settlement on core and non core application, operation with 99.5% platform availability across 120+ insurance products launched along with Enterprise data management. My conviction is simple: the real value of technology leadership is not in the platforms deployed, but in the business outcomes they unlock. High-Impact Deliverables: • Digital Scale: Built an API-first ecosystem (InsureMO, IBM API Connect, Oracle SOA) onboarding 90+ OEM integrations and scaling digital GWP to ₹2,000 Cr (30% YoY uplift). • Data Intelligence: Established an Analytics COE, powering 200+ real-time Power BI dashboards for C-suite, Managers, and Regulatory decision-making. • Predictive AI: Deployed AI/ML models for cross sell, customer, renewals, fraud analytics, and churn management. • Operational Excellence: Delivered 16–20% YoY ROI on digital programs while reducing time-to-market. For 60 crs transactions customer engagement happened through CCM (Policy pdf, SMS, Whatsapp) • Governance: Ensuring 100% compliance with regulatory submission across IRDAI, IIB, and Audit submissions over 15 years. Prior to this, I invested 8+ years at TATA AIG, where I joined from start managed Motor, Health , RI , products, Digital applications and pioneered one-hour motor claim settlements using predictive analytics, PDA and re-engineered the pan-India customer portal.
