Laís de Oliveira
Fractional Head of GTM at GigU (formerly StopClub); Founder of Nest & North
About
I'm Laís de Oliveira, a Fractional Head of GTM and the founder of Nest & North. My career has been dedicated to the intersection of community and growth—from founding and exiting my own startup, 8spaces, to scaling global movements at Startup Grind and On Deck. Currently, I’m focused on the gig economy at GigU, where we’re building economic infrastructure for the 'invisible workforce.' I’m passionate about 'The Together Life'—choosing connection over loneliness—and I bring what I call 'soul to strategy' to mission-driven companies. Whether I'm designing a contribution journey or writing about the 'psychedelic' shift of motherhood, I care about building belonging as both a human and economic imperative. I’m always looking for fractional GTM roles or advisory opportunities where I can help founders engineer serendipity and scale with purpose.

Opinions
- Community-led growth is economic infrastructure for human agency, not a marketing buzzword.
- Rejects corporate clichés like 'we are a family' unless the brand represents shared, deep-seated values.
- Empowering gig workers with data is a modern version of the American Dream.
- Building belonging is both an economic and a human imperative.
