About

I'm junezaniyazi, currently the founder of nuvvu.ai while taking a career break to pursue personal goals. My journey started in architecture and evolved through UX design into service design leadership roles at companies like Jiva and Matter. Now I'm focused on integrating AI workflows for service design, hosting a podcast, and writing a book on prototyping. I'm passionate about the intersection of AI and human-centric practices, bridging the gap between theory and real-world business impact, and ensuring customer insight has a seat at the strategy table. I offer mentorship to the design community, share learnings from building in public, and provide a platform for others through my podcast. I'm looking to connect with practitioners working at the crossroads of design, strategy, customer intelligence, and AI—especially those who are figuring things out alongside me.

Opinions

  • "AI isn't a shortcut around learning. It's a multiplier of what you already know."
  • "Speed is the new excuse for not doing discovery."
  • "People think: Good research gets acted upon. What's actually true: Research that doesn't fit the roadmap gets shelved, no matter how good it is."
  • "Automation with AI agents works if a structure already exists."
  • Mastery of tools is less important than foundational knowledge in areas like systems thinking, game theory, microeconomics, and business fluency
  • Quantitative data can be useless without qualitative interpretation
