About

I'm Jatin Gupta, Co-Founder at Flecks Labs, a gaming studio focused on creating games for the Indian market. My career has taken me from software engineering at Zynga through product roles in fintech at companies like Paytm and Navi, where I built and led a team of 50+, to now building my own gaming venture. I'm passionate about product management as facilitation, believe India will emulate successful gaming studios abroad, and take a first-principles approach to game design. I'm actively looking to hire talented people in design, engineering, and growth to join our early-stage, well-funded studio and help build games for India from scratch.

Opinions

  • A PM is supposed to be just a facilitator, guiding the multiple teams involved, always keeping the customer and business goals in mind
  • India is eventually going to emulate the success stories of studios in Israel and Turkey
  • An analogy is one of the best way to understand and retain an abstract piece of knowledge
