Gaurav Kapoor
Vice Chairman, Co-Founder, and Board Member at MetricStream
About
I'm Gaurav Kapoor, Vice Chairman and Co-Founder of MetricStream. My journey has taken me from the halls of Citibank to the front lines of the GRC industry, where I recently served as CEO, leading a significant financial turnaround and repositioning our firm as an AI-first leader. I am deeply passionate about the intersection of technology and governance, specifically how 'Agentic AI' can transform risk management from a reactive oversight function into a continuous, cognitive enterprise capability. Beyond the boardroom, I’m a firm believer in the 'One Team' philosophy and often find inspiration in the resilience and performance of global sports. I’m here to engage with fellow leaders and innovators to discuss AI strategy, GTM acceleration, and how we can amplify outcomes by simplifying complex governance challenges.

- There is no good AI without good data; data foundation is 50% of AI success
- GRC will become an embedded enterprise capability rather than a standalone function
- Advocates for a 'One Team' philosophy to break down organizational silos
