I'm Bhaskar Mehta, a Senior Director and Distinguished Engineer at Google Cloud, where I lead our efforts in Applied AI and Conversational Agents. My career has been defined by building and scaling systems that operate at a 'planet-scale'—from managing YouTube’s 2EB data warehouse to overseeing Meta’s ads ranking infrastructure. I hold a PhD in ML and AI, and I’ve always believed that even at the leadership level, staying deeply connected to the technical 'magic' is essential. Currently, I'm passionate about the transition to agentic commerce and making AI deployment reliable for the world's largest enterprises.
