As a Technical Management Trainee, I had the opportunity to work in 3 different entities of Bosch India Limited. Roles and Responsibilities undertaken: 1. Validation Engineer for the Engineering Group, Gasoline Systems Bosch India (June 2014- Feb 2014) i) Responsible for the validation engineering and planning for all Air Management (AM) Products like Accelerator Pedal Module and Throttle Body Assembly in India. ii) Took the responsibility for planning and implementing the validation activities for the plant relocation from Nagnathpura, Bangalore to Gangaikondan, Tamil Nadu.. 2. Design Engineer for the Engineering Group, Packaging Division, Bosch India Mar 2014 - June 2014 i) Responsible for development and modeling of VFFS (Vertical form fill seal) packaging machines and packaging formats. ii) Standardized the packaging formats so as to save time and increase efficiency when providing a quote to the customer. 3. Manufacturing Engineer for Starters and Generators Division, Bosch India (Dec 2014 – Mar 2014) i) Responsible for the implementation of BPS (Bosch Production System) principles the assembly line for generators. ii) Implemented Consumption Control for the Rectifier Sub-Assembly in one of the generators. iii) Introduced the Continuous Improvement Process (CIP) for a variant of Starters and also put up a monitoring chart for the same. iv) Introduced and developed the framework for implementing Heijunka at the one of the generators Assembly Line.
